Greg McKenna, CSDC Credit Committee
Greg McKenna is a Managing Director at PNC Capital
Markets, which he joined in 2006. He is primarily responsible for
managing PNC's Charter School Tax-Exempt Revenue Bond Program
across PNC's footprint. The program provides short-term and
long-term financing to charter schools through the structuring of
public tax-exempt bond offerings without any form of credit
enhancement. The program is marketed to charter schools with
a borrowing need of $5.0 million or more. Under Mr. McKenna's
leadership, PNC has become a national leader in charter school
financing solutions underwriting 15 long-term bond issues for
various charter schools, providing more than $250 million in
facility financing.
As an investment banker for more than 10 years, McKenna has
completed more than 70 capital finance projects, providing more
than $750 million for borrowers.
A native of Pittsburgh, Mr. McKenna holds an MBA in Finance as
well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing / Management both
from Duquesne University. He resides in Mount Lebanon,
Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter.
